In honour of Tipp's great victory over Cork and the fact that there are more Tipp people on this blog then Cork people. The banner on the site has been changed. Come on Tipp.
Not sure about that Mr. Kennedy. You look after your own house and don't be cribbing.
Consider this, Diarmuid Fitzgerald, Paul Curran, Paul Kelly, Shane McGrath and God himself did not start on Saturday night (McGrath made a cameo in the dying minutes alright). All 5 should be back in the coming weeks and all 5 are first team players.
Tipp had some big performances from the unusual suspect, Benny Dunne being a prime example, and to win under all the circumstances (injuries to key players, 6th weekend in a row playing) will bring them on and confidence right through the panel will be soaring.
Should we beat Wexford, which is no foregone conclusion (Wexford have a performance in them and will be very dangerous next weekend), the panel will have a 2-3 week break before the semi finals. Kilkenny, the likely opponents, will start as favourites no doubt but on the evidence of Saturday night Tipp have a chance.
The QF will be in Croker, but not in September. It hurts to admit that the final will probably be a repeat of the league decider. If Kilkenny aren't there then I'm a dutch man. (who calle dme jacob....)

Won't deny the better team won on the day, but whatever about Cork, Tipp will be nowhere near GAA HQ at the start of September.
The quarter final will be on in Croker. So there anyway :)
