An Inconvenient Truth

I'm unsure as to whether 'An Inconvenient Truth', a documentary of the speech on global warming given by Al Gore will be released in Ireland or to what extent but having seen it I would highly recommend it. Gore strives to raise awareness and disipate misunderstandings, continuing a campaign he has been a supporter of from his earliest days in office. The speech is littered with insights into his life, his motivations and of course reflections on his run for the White House. Be sure to keep an eye out for it, particularly on the film festival circuit or in art house cinemas. As a starting point, the website Gore aks attendees and viewers alike to visit is www.climatecrisis.net.

Oh please! This movie is nothing but an attempt by Gore to create a myth and infect the population with his lies. That myth is that global warming is caused primarily by rising CO2 levels. Hah, I don't think so!

Despite what Al Gore says the real reason that the earths temperature keeps going up is Al Gore himself.

That's right ladies and gents. If Al Gore had been able to beat George Bush, a man whose age exceeds his I.Q, in 2000, America would have signed up to Kyoto and global warming would be nicely under control.

So Gore, stop whining. It's too late, the planet is doomed and its all your fault.

hmm...myths indeed
1. The US signed up to Kyoto but the senate overwhelmingly rejected it, 95-0 I think, all on Clintons (and VP Gore) watch.
2. There is not one scientist in the world who says that Kyoto is even close to being enough to stop the phenomen they believe is happening.
3. The US is now closer to meeting the Kyoto targets than most major EU countries.
