Online Mourning

A funeral director based in Co. Down will be among the first in the world to broadcast funerals live online. Using a password provided by the funeral director, relatives and friends who cannot make the funeral, may log on and aided by cameras and microphones installed in the church attached to the funeral home may watch proceedings. The company also hope to begin filming burials soon. On reading that the service is restricted and not open for general viewing I felt a bit more at ease with it and maybe this is an example of one of the services saturating the marketplace that have in some way a noble intention.
